Blogger Craig Chappelow writing in Fast Company describes what I’ve been saying about the myth of work-life balance.
Rather than treating your career as if it were not a part of our life, we might be happier blending the two.
Mr. Chappelow writes –
“Do not try to balance anything. Try to integrate instead, which requires some real awareness of your preferred behaviors, self-identity, and sense of control.”
Work is either an integral part of our lives that gives us purpose, or it serves as a way to fund our lives outside of work.
It’s kinda important that we figure it out.
