Toss Out The Instructions

(image from google:life archive)

My mother taught me how to be creative.

Because my mother couldn’t afford to buy the newest craze, she taught me to use my imagination instead.

I learned design thinking before I knew there was such a thing.

I learned that in order to find the solution, you needed to believe that one existed.

Believing that a solution is possible comes from being creative.

Being creative begins with imagining a solution.

Thanks Mom.

  1. To this day, I never read the instructions. It’s more fun to figure things out for myself. And anyway, their usually written in such a way as to be the least helpful “tool” in the box.
