In his recent blog post in Wired magazine neuroscientist Jonah Lehrer writes about the correlation between anger and creativity.

As leaders are we sometimes too polite? Too willing to acquiesce?
Rather than accepting, mentoring, or coaching poor performance are we better off voicing our disapproval? 
Should we respect a colleague’s opinion even when we believe it’s wrongheaded?
When we show regard for what we consider a ‘bad’ idea…
are we diminishing the good ideas?
I wonder.
