One suggestion the experts mention when researching the company for which you’d like to work is whether or not the staff is “happy.”
They suggest, if possible, speak with current employees to see if they like working for the prospective employer.
Be cautious however.
“I’m happy here” could mean that the person is challenged by the work, feels valued, and contributes.
It may mean that the staff is comfortable – that they are happy with the status quo.
They are content.
