Leadership For The Leadership Impaired – Business Writing

by - m on 06/29/2011

Before you write, ask yourself if what you have to say should be written.

Once you decide to write, keep it concise.

Write with one person in mind (especially when you’re addressing a large readership).

Keep it simple. (Prepositions and adjectives do not make you look smarter).

Read what you write aloud. Does it sound like you? Does it sound natural? Is it clear?

If you follow only one piece of advice about business writing, consider this one…

Think before you write.
