Having confidence in yourself will get you only so far.
Doubt begins to seep in about the time things don’t work out the way you expected or when someone else’s talent – or luck – eclipses yours.
Confidence begins to wane.
And begins to pull you down with it.
Trying to talk your way back usually results in feeling worse until some small success begins to turn you around.
Confidence re-emerges when something outside of yourself triggers its return.
Because it requires an external force, self-confidence isn’t dependable.
Self appreciation is…
No one can change it. No one can challenge it. (They may question the value for them, but not your intrinsic value).
The ability to value what you bring – to be thankful for what you have – depends solely on you.
